The Church Rios de Agua Viva is a dynamic, Spanish speaking ministry, lifting up the name and love of Jesus and reaching the local Hispanic community for Christ!

Vision:

Iglesia Rios de Agua Viva is a church where rivers of living water pour out into our community and those that are thirsty come and receive everlasting life in Christ Jesus. In John 7:37 Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. The name and truth of Jesus is being lifted up! In John 7:38 Jesus continues saying, He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. Disciples are being made in Christ and God's love is continuing to flow as the Kingdom of God is advancing!
 

The church provides practical help to the local Hispanic community through these other outreaches. All the above outreach ministries are free of charge and available for anyone interested. There is help available for understanding papers in English by having them translated into Spanish. The church is also willing to help make appointments for various needs. All these services are provided to display the love of Jesus in a practical manner for those in need.

Iglesia Rios de Agua Viva was established as a Spanish Church in March 2005. The Pastor is Jose Gonzalez. Pastor Jose Gonzalez and his wife Dawn have 4 children and are originally from California. The Gonzalez family is grateful for the call of God in their lives to come to Alabama and serve the Lord here in this Holy Spirit-filled church.
